What I’ve been reading

By Meg | April 14, 2008

For the past week I’ve been laying low with a nasty sinus infection. It hasn’t been fun, but if there’s one thing that I actually appreciate about being sick is that it forces me to sit back and catch up on light reading.

Here are some blog posts that I’ve been keeping up with and reading the comments on:

I’ve also been reading through the two tomes of wisdom that are The Joy of Simple Living and The Complete Tightwad Gazette.

Of course, being sick hasn’t stopped me from getting a little work done on FruWiki. Please check out the pages on Yardsaling for tips on having a successful yard sale (something I hope to do next month) and also the page on Weddings for tips on having a classy but inexpensive wedding (as I did nearly seven years ago).

Also, remember to sign up for a FruWiki account so that you can contribute any money saving tips that come to mind. I’ve started featuring some contributors and other supporters on the main page.

Thanks, Meg! :) I need to get my butt over to adding stuff on the Finwikian, too.

You’re welcome, Mrs. Micah! I love reading your blog, especially for the comments. You always ask great questions and I love seeing how people respond.

I look forward to reading more stuff at the Finwikian, but I certainly understand the work involved in keeping up with different blogs and projects. Sometimes I worry that I’ll spread myself thin between too many sites, but then, I really enjoy being involved in so many different projects.
