What I learned tonight and a hat to love
By Meg | November 18, 2007
Tonight I learned that rabbit fur isn’t the best scarf material — and to always bring a lint roller when wearing black.
I’m now looking for a gray scarf that doesn’t make me look like I just hugged all four of my cats at once.
Except for the fur, though, I think I looked particularly classy tonight. Maybe I’ll recreate the outfit for photos some time, but I can show you the cloche hat I wore since we featured it recently on The Bargain Queen. I wore the black/gray tweed specifically, though I also have the hat in green/brown and the cranberry. Sadly, the cranberry sold out; in fact, I may have ordered the last one. The other two colors are still available and I highly recommend them. Trust me, I don’t normally buy the same style hat in three colors, but I would have bought more had there been other colors available because this hat is so awesome and flattering.
