Quotes from my husband: On the recent cutting of my credit card

Last night I sacrificed my AmEx card. My husband didn’t say a lot at first, just “O.k.” and “the shredder isn’t plugged in and I can’t reach the outlet right now.” Then later there were these two gems:

You’ll have to live vicariously through your readers.

Yeah… Please go buy lovely things and tell me all about them. Go buy them through The Bargain Queens. Or even better, do all your Amazon shopping through that search box on the right of this post or the ads on the left. Then maybe I can actually pay off my credit card.

Doesn’t it feel so much better now?

No! No! NOOOOO!

But it might feel better some day when I no longer have credit card debt.
