Oh, the horror!

After a few unplanned weekend purchases, like this gorgeous fuchsia trench coat, I decided that I had better start curbing my spending one day at a time. So, today I made it a point not to buy a darn thing.
So far so good, except I know what I’m going to be buying tomorrow.
You see, I was nuking somedelicious cookies when this horrendous rattle comes from the microwave and I saw a flash out of the corner of my eye. I stop it, take out the cookie, eat the cookie, then try the microwave again to make sure that it wasn’t just my imagination coupled with a rattling plate.
Then the light show really begins and I quickly hit the stop button.
I’m actually a little down. I loved this microwave! My mom bought it for me when I went to college and other than this, it has worked great. And it’s huge. I asked her to find one that could fit an entire pizza and it did.
I know I’ll be able to find another microwave, but I’m still a bit attached seeing how much time I’ve spent using this thing for nearly 7 years.

Other microwaves won’t have to added value of being a gift from MOM.

Thank you all for your condolences. Unfortunately, today is my busy day, so we didn’t get a replacement yet and I was too busy to cook. So, I ended up eating out. Hopefully we’ll have a new microwave in time to reheat leftovers.

Thanks so much for your vote!!! And yes, you’re so right that it being a gift from my mom makes the microwave a lot more special. She also got us our dishwasher. If that stops working, then we’ll be in serious trouble!
