Oxford pumps

One trend I’m not going for personally - oxford pumps. They’re part of this fall’s menswear and vintage inspired fashions. I know some people have gone crazy for them. They’re interesting… but they just don’t do anything for me. They’re just too masculine, too old-fashioned, too… too granny ganster.
I could be wrong, but I’ll go out on a limb and predict that this will be a short-lived trend that will be adopted mostly by those creative fashionistas who are always looking for something new and different. More power to them.
What do you think? Yea or nay?

I don’t really like them. Sure, they will be trendy this season with people, but they will look out of date and weird soon. It’s better to just stick with a more classic heel, something you would get more use out of.

OMG! I HATE HATE HATE them. They are okay peeking out from FULL-LENGTH pants, but absolutely hideous with skirts or cropped pants. I, too, was feeling like the only person who didn’t like them.

Welcome to the site, Melissa! You’re so right - a more classic heel will get so much more use making them a better buy. Plus, have you seen the price of some of the oxfords? The ones on Amazon are fairly reasonable, but some people are spending hundreds of dollars on them.

Kasmira, it is so good to know that we aren’t alone in this.
Full-length pants would make them somewhat tolerable. Then again, full length pants make most bad shoes better just by covering them up ;)

Actually I’m a yes for these, but with a lower heel and not quite so…trashy.
