It’s official. I’m shopping too little
By Meg | April 27, 2008
Yes, I’ll admit it. The recession is my fault. I stopped shopping so much and the U.S. economy did a nosedive.
O.k., maybe not. But something almost as strange just happened. My husband just complained to a friend of ours that I’m shopping too little. He says he’s more or less gotten over it, seeing how this is still better than before when I shopped too much. Still, this is from the guy I used to have to drag to stores. Now he’s been trying to get me to go shopping for over a week and all I want to do is stay home, read, and work on projects like FruWiki.
No worries, though, we’re still spending plenty of quality time outside of stores. I’m also happy to report that we’re still going on walks at least weekly, if not every other day.

It’s extraordinary how much extra time is available when one stops shopping. It’s not only a money waster, its a time waster too.

Hmm… don’t worry about causing the recession… Miss J is still doing enough shopping for two.
You should feel so proud!

Thanks, Miss Janey!
