Introducing… FruWiki.com!

Drum roll, please!
I’ve been working on a project that I hope you will enjoy. As regular readers know, I’ve been trying to live more frugally — and having some success despite my love of fashion, food, and gadgets. I believe that being frugal is not about self-deprivation, but rather about prioritizing in order to have more resources to pursue those things which we are truly passionate about. I’ve written about frugality before, but there’s far more to be said on the topic, so I’ve created a wiki site to help share and organize some of the many bits of great frugal advice out there.
I am happy to announce FruWiki.com, the frugal wiki.
I hope you will check out the site and please consider contributing any helpful tips you may have to share. I have high hopes for the site, but I can’t do it alone. If you have any suggestions, please don’t hesitate to email them to me through either site, or leave suggestions in the comments here.
And please, if you like the site, spread the word.
Last but not least, special thanks to my husband for supporting this in so many ways, including doing a lot of the technical stuff behind the scenes.

Under “throw out less”/”when you’re done with it,” I’d add a category for selling items.
Under spend less, I’d include things like getting a reduced price [such as price checking (that’s where the price book goes), sales, clearance, discount stores, thrift stores, outlet stores, coupons, rebates, bargaining], renting, borrowing, trading, sharing, and investing (paying more now for something so it will cost you less over the long term).

This is a fabulous idea! I will certainly do my best to contribute as I think of things. I maintain the Green It! carnival to which you submitted this post, and I will be sure to include you in the next carnival.
