In case you wondered

As I said in a recent post, I have no intention of giving up my white shoes post Labor Day. So in case you wondered, yep, I wore white shoes yesterday. I wore white Mary-Jane style ballet flats with a gray skirt, lavender knit top, white butterfly necklace, white dangly earrings, a white tote, and a turquoise clutch.
Today, I also happen to be wearing my white shoes, but this time with a beige and white day dress and turquoise jewelry, as well as the same tote and clutch. Maybe I’ll round out the rest of the week with them - not that anyone seems to notice or care about my little statement. Then again, I live in a college town and I have a feeling that the ‘rule’ is much less fussed about among people of my generation.
