Band uniforms and wardrobe organization
By Meg | November 13, 2007
November is flying by! I can’t believe there are already Christmas trees up in the mall. We’ve had our big jazz band concert for the semester and in chorus we’re getting ready for our December concerts. It’s a lot of work, but well worth it.
The concert did inspire my writing over at Sax Appeal. Yesterday I published Finding uniforms that flatter the entire band. I lucked out; our band director’s idea of a uniform is basically ’something dressy in black’. That I can do! I ended up wearing a black button-up shirt, black pants, black socks, black ballet flats, and my pearls — and I was told that I had never looked slimmer.
At the Bargain Queen, we’ve got lots of great gift ideas (and we don’t mind if you give some to yourself). I also have finished up my series on wardrobe organization. Here are the links to all three parts:
- Part 1, How to weed your closet
- Part 2, How to create extra closet space
- Part 3, How to find extra storage solutions
