Back to school for another semester — update

It’s official, I’m playing lead alto sax! Both my friend and I did very well at our singing audition, too! I’m really liking the sound of “jazz vocalist”. I’m looking forward to having tomorrow off, though.
So far, 2008 looks like it’s going to be a great year.
And by the way, for my jazz vocal audition I wore a white button up shirt from Ann Taylor, a brown knee-length skirt, brown heels with X ankle straps, my mint/maroon/mauve-striped arm warmers, and the navy nail polish. How’s that for ironic, Ashe? My friend who auditioned with me doesn’t care for arm warmers in general, but I did get some compliments from others.

Congratulations! And I LOVE the idea of wearing navy polish with a brown ensemble. It’s a very chic color combination (to me at least!) and slightly unexpected. Wonderful!

And I am so addicted to this nail polish. I bought three other colors with it, and so far I haven’t even tried two of them on my finger nails (though I did try one on my toe nails).
