Any musicians out there?

I’d like to announce my new blog, Sax Appeal. It’s actually based on a web site that I started a decade ago as a hobby during my freshman year of high school. Unfortunately, it didn’t get updated much after I graduated — not that four years is a bad stint for an amateur web site. I have high hopes, though, for this incarnation of Sax Appeal, especially now that I no longer have to code everything by hand in notepad (aaah… those were the days).
Like its predecessor, Sax Appeal is about more than just saxophones. I’m also writing for musicians in general, and anyone else that wonders what goes into making music.
I hope you’ll check it out.

I played tenor sax in high school jazz band. My final solo was the Hill Street Blue theme. Does that date me?!

By that logic, my Handel solo would really date me.
