An indispensable accessory for holiday cooks
By Meg | November 17, 2007
The holiday season is upon us, a time to gather with our loved ones — and impress them with our hot holiday looks, fantastic ability to find the perfect gifts, and even our culinary skills. But in the mad dash to get out the Thanksgiving feast or Christmas dinner, it can be hard to keep looking party perfect. While the common advice is to cook first, dress up later, my food would be cold if I did that! So I suggest using that wonderfully useful accessory that has gone neglected for decades: an apron.
Sure, it’s a bit Stepford looking, but it’ll save your outfit when the blender gets possessed. And should anything get passed it, then you can reach for a To Go pen. I’m still crazy about those things, having used mine just yesterday to get ketchup out of my shirt.
