Ah, put your shirt on!

When people talk about dressing modestly, discussion usually revolves around us women. Well, men, I’m talking to you. Put your shirts back on! (And please pull up your pants while you’re at it.)
I don’t get it. We women are expected to wear shirts, and bras, but some men seem to strip off their shirts the moment that they start to sweat. I can’t go to class and back without seeing men jogging down the side of the highway topless. And they are never, ever the guys that I might not mind seeing more of. Newsflash! Shirts aren’t that uncomfortable — especially when you don’t have to content with a bra.
The worst was Sunday, though. I had to stop at a gas station just a couple miles north of town. Walking through the store, I saw an older guy with his shirt off and his pants riding down below his hips — in the store! Eeeeeeewwwww! I won’t go into the details, but let’s just say that there was nothing appealing about his chest, stomach, back, hip bones… Now I understand why most stores around here have “No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service” signs.
So, I repeat: Guys, please leave your shirts on. Many of you would love it if all women went around topless, but that doesn’t mean that we feel the same way.
P.S. Icy over at Individual Chic also happened to write about bare chests, which I discovered while taking a break from writing this post. Great minds think alike? I forgot to add the link but Fabulously Broke in the City’s comment reminded me of it. So, here it is: Bare Chests are Not Pretty. I couldn’t agree more.

LOL, yes yes yes!!! Every summer, it’s the same & I just can’t stand it. Is a t-shirt that hot??

As a Florida girl, I can definitely say that t-shirts aren’t that hot. Unfortunately, summer here lasts almost year round.
