Impressions do matter but it’s not all about how much you make or what brands you wear. While many people spend outrageous sums trying to impress, good taste is still priceless. Being a classy person doesn’t have to cost a fortune if you know how to spend wisely and declutter your life. In this blog, I’ll share the life lessons I’ve learned on topics like fashion, etiquette, and language use so that you’ll have the Joneses jealous.
About the Author
My name is Meg. I’m in my 20’s, married to a wonderful husband, and living the good life despite having to tackle debt from our college days. I started blogging as a hobby, but now it’s quickly becoming a career thanks to the support of so many wonderful readers who’ve allowed me to make use of my love of writing, critical eye, and bargain finding talents.
What got me interested in this topic? From my mom, I learned early on the value of hard work, smart choices, and self respect. While others around us were living in run down mobile homes and throwing trash in their yards, she fixed up an old farm house she bought for $800 and landscaped the yard herself. The kids at school thought we must be millionaires! Even today, my mom still surprises me with how well she lives on a fixed income.

While I placed them on my site, I do not have much control over the content of the banner ads on either side of the site, so please do not consider them a sign that endorse the products featured there. I do use Amazon Affiliate ads within my blog posts as well, but I do choose these ads specifically to illustrate my posts. It saves me from paying someone else to use their photos, gives you the option of purchasing the item displayed, and gives me an opportunity to make a bit of shoe money when people buy qualifying purchases.
